Cheesecake And Caramel Bites

Popular legend estimates that the cheesecake was created around 2000 BC as a variation of the cake used by athletes in the Olympics. In fact, the cheesecake underwent different modifications over the centuries, until at the end of the 19th century Arnold Reuben, a German chef, used cream cheese to make this cake. Since then, this sweet became one of the most popular desserts in the world. In addition, it is undoubtedly the one with the most variations. However, it can get a bit boring as we all know it. For this reason, here we teach you how to make the cheesecake and caramel bites, a new option with the same flavor as always.

Cheesecake and caramel bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 tub of cream cheese (Philadelphia type)
  • ¼ cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ¼ tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup strawberries
  • Liquid candy
  • 6 sweet and sour crackers
  • 1 package of dark chocolate for pastry

    Utensils:

    • First of all, you need a baking dish
    • Therefore, you also need baking paper
    • 1 bowl
    • A mixer
    • 1 saucepan

    preparation:

    The caramel cheesecake bites are so easy to make.

    • First, line a baking dish with parchment paper.
    • Then, with the help of a mixer, beat the cream cheese with the sugar, vanilla and lemon juice.
    • Add the egg and beat again until a homogeneous mixture is formed.
    • Pour the mixture into the baking dish. Thus,  cook for about 30 minutes, until the mixture is firm.
    • Later, let it warm on the hob and then refrigerate for 2 hours (this step is necessary so that the oven dish does not break when it goes quickly from heat to cold).
    • Then, remove the mixture from the source and crumble it in a bowl.
    • Add the strawberries and caramel (without overdoing it) and mix gently with your hands.
    • With the help of a mixer, make the crackers crumbs.
    • When ready, form balls with the mixture and coat them in the crackers.
    • Put in the fridge for an hour.
    • Meanwhile, in a saucepan, melt the chocolate and bathe the balls with it, either by dipping them or placing the balls on a rack and pouring the chocolate on top.
    • Finally, put it back in the fridge until the chocolate is hard.

    • If you want to give the snacks another flavor, raspberries, blackberries or blueberries can be used instead of strawberries , as you would in any cheesecake.

    Sautéed caramel cheesecake bites

    Caramel cheesecake bites can also be made from this variant.

    Ingredients:

    • 1 ¼ cup diced crackers
    • 3 spoonfuls of sugar
    • 1/3 cup butter, softened at room temperature
    • 2 tubs of cream cheese, Philadelphia type
    • 1 tablespoon of flour
    • 1 can of condensed milk
    • ¼ cup sour cream
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 2 tablespoon butter
    • 1/3 cup brown sugar
    • 2 tablespoons of liquid caramel
    • Coarse sea salt

    Utensils:

    • Truffle molds
    • 1 small bowl
    • A spoon
    • 1 mixer
    • 1 frying pan

    preparation:

    Sautéed caramel cheesecake bites are a twist on cheesecake.

    • First, preheat the oven to 180ºC.
    • Meanwhile, mix the cracker crumbs and 1 tablespoon of the sugar in a small bowl.
    • Add the softened butter and beat well until smooth.
    • Then pour the mixture into the truffle molds and smooth with a spoon.
    • Bake for 5 minutes. Then  let it cool down to room temperature.
    • Meanwhile, beat the cream cheese, flour and two tablespoons of sugar with the mixer until you get a fluffy mixture.
    • Add ¾ of the condensed milk, sour cream, and vanilla while beating until smooth.
    • Then pour this mass over the previous one in the molds until they are almost full.
    • Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until almost done.
    • Thus, let it cool for 1 hour.
    • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a small skillet over medium heat.
    • Add the brown sugar, caramel, and condensed milk that remain and stir until smooth.
    • When it starts to bubble, remove from heat and let cool.
    • Pour over the cheesecake bites.
    • Finally, sprinkle with a little sea salt.
