Avocados

Creamy avocado sauce is a good addition to your salads, as long as you use healthy ingredients. In this sense, it is essential to avoid mistakes in its preparation that can affect its quality. Some of the most frequent are:

  • Using unhealthy vegetable oils, such as soy or palm. The main recommendation is to use extra virgin olive oil; if not, it can be replaced by sunflower oil.
  • Going overboard with the use of oils. Avocado, the main ingredient in these sauces, is rich in fatty acids. Therefore, it is not necessary to add too much oil to obtain the expected result.
  • Adding too much salt. Although it can be incorporated to the taste of each one, it is best to avoid its excesses. Remember that excessive salt consumption is related to cardiovascular health problems such as hypertension.
  • Use processed seasonings. Many commercial seasonings contain added flours and other added ingredients. It is best to opt for its natural versions, without artificial preservatives.

Do you dare to try these two versions of the creamy avocado sauce? Feel free to add it to your favorite salads. Of course, you can add it to your sandwiches, toast, bread or any other preparation for breakfast or snack.
