Ingredients

• 8 ice cream sandwiches (cream and / or chocolate) to taste.
• 3 cups whipping cream or whipping cream (store bought or homemade).
• 4-5 crushed Oreo cookies.

Preparation

• First, line a square or oblong pan with parchment or parchment paper. Leave extra paper to hang over the sides of the pan.
• Separate 4 of the ice cream sandwiches and place them on the platter. Reserve the other 4 sandwiches for now.
• Next, arrange the first 4 ice cream sandwiches in the bottom of the pan. These should cover the bottom.
• Spread with the help of a spoon or tongue, half of the whipped cream on the 4 base ice cream sandwiches.
• Next, evenly spoon the crushed Oreos on top of the whipped cream.
• Take the 4 frozen sandwiches that you had reserved.
• Layer the ice cream sandwiches in the same way as the others on the base, this time on top of the whipped cream and crushed Oreos. Gently push down, this will help the whipped cream to open on the sides.

• Spread with the remaining whipping cream to completely coat the cake.

Then …

• Decorate, if you wish, with more crushed Oreo cookies, with chocolate shavings, chocolate tears, also with grated coconut, or with whatever you prefer. Another option is to leave it undecorated, that will depend on your imagination.
• Next, cover the frosted sandwich cake with plastic wrap and place in the freezer for at least an hour, until firm.
• Then, remove from the freezer and lift the parchment paper from the base to remove the cake from the pan.
• Finally, with a knife, smooth the whipped cream and spread it a little more if necessary.
